Payment
The first session is what we call an "Intake Conversation". It is a dedicated space for you to land, breathe, and share what has brought you to this point.
• The Goal: We focus on your "valid starting point." I will ask some questions about your history and current challenges to understand the "rainy season" you are navigating.
• The Outcome: By the end of our 60 minutes, we will have a shared sense of how we can work together and what your personal goals for "emerging" look like. There is no pressure to have all the answers; you just need to show up as you are
No, you do not need a referral from a GP or psychiatrist to book a session. As a Registered Counsellor, I am a primary mental health care provider. You can reach out directly to begin your journey.
• Note: If you intend to claim back from your medical aid, most schemes in South Africa allow for self-referral to counselors, but it is always a good idea to check your specific plan’s benefits for "Psychology/Counselling" services.
The "connection" between us is the most important part of your healing. It’s about whether you feel heard, safe, and seen in our shared space.
• The 15-Minute Connection: Because I value this fit so deeply, I offer a complimentary 15-minute Discovery Call. This is a no-pressure opportunity for us to meet digitally, for you to ask a few questions, and for both of us to see if the "flow" feels right before you commit to a full session.
